1972-1987 [leave of absence 1977-1978], general and choral music teacher, grades 5-12 in the Freetown-Lakeville public school system, Massachusetts.
She has been a member of the American Orff-Schulwerk Association since 1975, including (but not limited to) the following responsibilities:
Editorial board, The Orff Echo, 1985-1993;
Local co-chair of the national conference in Boston, Massachusetts, 1986;
National chair of the conference in Minneapolis, Minnesota, 1992;
Vice-president, 1993-1995;
President, 1995-1997;
Co-chair of the international symposium on Orff-Schulwerk in Lifelong Learning, Rochester, New York, 2000;
Editorial review committee for Orff Re-Echoes IV, 2018;
Member of the International Connections Subcommittee since 2019.
